A Mother is Born

Motherhood can be a very special experience, if only you have the time to realize it. I am in the family way and ready to pamper myself, to indulge in all the good things in life. Married for a year now and It all began with House hunting from the month of Oct’07, since were we used to live that’s Keelkattalai, was quite a distance to travel after work. This tired both my husband and me. Secondly, it was in the first floor, with lots and lots of complication from neighbours, water problem, space, etc.. etc..

Much as I would have liked, sports like swimming and go-karting were out, walking was the only outdoor activity open to me. Had shifted to our new place by JAN’08, Tansi Nagar in Velachery, a purple colour independent house, much closer to my work place. Into my fifth month, an opportunity for a go-karting, beckoned. Smilingly, I dreamt of another time when I would attempt more such karting opportunities with a different backpack!

I just had to confide to my husband, that I sorely missed Pani Puri (spicy Indian snacks), Butter Chicken, Paneer Fry, Junk Food which increased my cravings for food, which is so much a part and parcel of pregnancy. For someone who loves food but hates cooking!

A Beautiful Retreat
A place that did offer solitude was Dakshin Chitra and some time with my husband. That gesture was so touching; after ages we get time for ourselves and visit this outstanding place of art where we can see different kinds of lifestyle and I feel that a part of the traditional riches are with me [God knows what that means;) ].
Into my eighth month now...... can feel the little one eagerly wanting to come out ;) .... well as of now preparing for the baby shower ceremony... will upload pics in Flickr once its done... untill then.... adios!
